Weight loss shakes are often sold as the "magic bullet" solution to lose weight, but without the proper research into what you are taking, you could beyond doubt be doing yourself more harm than good. The makers of protein shakes and meal transfer shakes often claim their products can decrease body fat and promote fast weight loss, but before taking these shakes, a closer look is needed.
First, replacing meals with a weight loss shake may help you sell out your daily intake of calories, which will, in fact, help you lose weight. However, if you rely solely on protein shakes or meal transfer shakes for regular meals, you will most likely be missing out on the nutritional benefits of whole foods.

Another qoute with many protein shake diets, is the fact that your body could be getting far more protein than it beyond doubt needs. While the bodybuilding society will argue with me, the uncomplicated fact of the matter is that we only need in the middle of forty six (46) and fifty six (56) grams of protein each day. This is especially true when you are trying to lose weight (versus packing on the pounds like a bodybuilder). Any more protein than this, could succeed in an increase in weight because your body will not be able to use it in a timely manner, resulting in stored body weight.
